Treatments are recommended for children aged between 4-16 years old and written consent is required for all treatments and an accompanying adult must be present throughout.

Age limits for specific treatments vary and treatment age restrictions are:
Hair Cut & Blow Dry – Age 5+
Hair Colour – Age 13+ (13 – 18 years of age requires parent or guardian consent)
Beauty treatments – Age 13+ (Intimate waxing, massage or eyelash services are not permitted under 16 years old)
Shape + Polish – Age 5+
Manicure/Pedicure – Age 16+
Generic services between 10 – 16 years old, a parent or guardian must be present.
Generic services for young adults between 16 – 18 years old, must have a written parent or guardian consent.
Harrods offers one of the most luxurious mother and daughter spa days in London.
The Dorchester Spa exudes 1930s Art Deco glamour combined with a contemporary edge thanks to unique aspects like a chandelier of south-pacific pearls and an indulgent Spatisserie.
The spa features nine treatment rooms including two double suites, mani-pedi suite and sleek relaxation room.
The Spa’s youngest guest they accept is 16 years old. Spa products used include Carol Joy London, Kerstin Florian and Aromatherapy Associates.
More a luxury salon than a spa (located in the privacy of hotel’s seventh floor) Miyoshi at The Ritz London salon offers a tranquil environment for clients to unwind in the hands of Hiro and his handpicked and highly-skilled team.
The luxurious salon has been designed to Hiro’s exacting standards, and offers a calm and contemporary space for clients to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital beneath.
Hiro Miyoshi at The Ritz London does have an age restriction and does not allow children under the age of 14 years old.
Manis, pedis, facials and massages are available and younger visitors will surely enjoy the hour long manicure with a hydrating mask for hands followed by a relaxing scalp and shoulder massage to relieve tension.
No one under the age of 14 is permitted in any Cowshed spas.
Treatments are specially tailored for adults but they do offer treatments to those aged 16 to 18 years old with parental consent.
The youngest spa guest for treatments is 16 years old, but there are also children’s hours at the swimming pool.
Lush on Oxford Street offers the following to enjoy during a kids’ spa day:
If a client is under the age of 18, a signed parental consent form is required in order to proceed with the treatment.
Parents of clients aged 12 – 16 are required to sit in the room and stay with their child throughout the duration of the treatment.
They will not perform treatments on kids under the age of 12.
Aged 12 – 16
With signed parental consent and a parent or legal guardian in the treatment room, clients can have a Validation Facial or The Spell.
Aged 16 – 18
With signed parental consent, clients can have a Validation Facial, Synaesthesia, The Good Hour, Tailor Made, The Spell, The Sound Bath, The Comforter or Hard Days Night Treatment.
They do not offer Karma, The Planets or Tales Of Bath treatments to under 18s.
A parent or legal guardian has the option to be in the room for the duration of the treatment.

Aveda keep things short and sweet – a spa day for kids there they’ll file and paint the nails of children five years old and above and give haircuts to toddlers two years old and older in their Oxford St spa.

Miriam and her team at The Official Kids Party will transform your home (or other venue) into a spa, bring robes and slippers and after choosing your ‘theme’ (X Factor, Sleepover, Dance, Cheerleading etc) and any extras (doughnut wall, cupcakes, caterers, balloons).
