Shared Skincare: Organic Products Safe for You + Baby
By Megan Taylor
Caring for a baby changes how you think about everything, especially what you put on their skin.
And if you wouldn’t use it on them, would you still want it on you?
Choosing organic or natural skincare isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about keeping things simple and safe, especially in those early months.
Products that work for both you and your baby can also save time, money, and headspace.
The fewer ingredients, the better. If you can read the label without needing a chemistry degree, even better.
There’s a lot out there, and not a lot of time to research it all, so we’ve rounded up a few brands doing it right: gentle, clear, and made for the real world.
Sister & Co makes products for babies, children and families that are formulated with organic ingredients including oats, shea butter, apricots and lavender.

The range is free from sulphates, parabens or artificial fragrances and can be used on the most delicate skin in the family.
We like their Organic Family Wash that’s made with organic oat oil, argan oil, tea tree, peppermint and eucalyptus.
Formulated for folks age 3 and over, it’s a PH-balanced, luxuriously moisturising and sulfate-free organic hand, body and hair wash that contains mild cleansers derived from coconut oil to gently cleanse without drying out the skin.
