An empowering exhibition that showcases 20th and 21st century female graphic designers and the contribution they have made to poster design over the last one hundred years.
With over 150 posters and original artworks on display, this exhibition attempts to recognise some of these forgotten design heroines and reveal the hidden stories behind their work.
Children can create their own story book inspired by posters from the exhibition. The arts and craft sessions will have them learning about the shapes, people and places they can see tucked away in the pictures. Using stencils, collage and drawing techniques kids will create a story that takes their characters through an imaginary world.
Suitable for kids age 3 - 12.
