Southbank Centre’s Imagine Children’s Festival returns for its 17th year from February 7 – 18 with twelve days of jam-packed fun over half-term.
With over fifty per cent of the programme free, the fun family festival includes playful and interactive events for everyone to enjoy, from dancing scientists to magical immersive adventures and Super Hero parties. With storytelling at its heart, key authors include Jacqueline Wilson, Harry Hill, BBC Radio 1 DJ’s and debut authors Greg James and Chris Smith, Jon Roberts and many more.
This year, the festival celebrates change makers and the next generation of pioneers, with a specially curated event dedicated to People Who Changed the World, with author and illustrators Kate Pankhurst (Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World) and Andrea Pippins (Young, Gifted and Black) alongside a host of special guests.
