The Best Organic Skincare Brands For Mother + Baby
BY MEGAN TAYLOR
Having a baby can be expensive but adding organic skincare that you both can use can help save a few pounds.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could share your beauty products with your newborn, knowing that if it’s good enough for your baby, you’re more than happy to use it on yourself?
Organic and natural skincare is best for both of you but especially to your baby who has only just been introduced into the world as the products won’t contain any nasties.
When looking for the best organic skincare products to use on baby and yourself, a top tip is to read the INCI listing which is better known as the ingredients list.
You’ll find this on the back of the product and contains all the ingredients that make up the product. The list is in order of how prevalent it is in the product.
Ask yourself if you have heard of these ingredients before? Would you really be happy slathering petrol all over your baby’s chest? If not, then stay away from petroleum.
You should also shy away from some products which contain fragrance/perfume in case they are too strong for your baby’s skin.
More and more brands are shying away from chemicals in their products and making it very clear that they don’t use petrochemicals which is great news for fans of clean beauty and will surely become more and more the norm.
There is much to learn and in the huge minefield that the beauty industry has become that you might not have much time to research which products to buy.
