Delivered by Newham Council in partnership with Coca-Cola Great Britain, ParkLives encourages people to make the most of their local parks by running a host of free activities suitable for the whole family until 3rd September.
ParkLives offers a range of free activities including paddle boarding, pony rides, karate, tag archery (think dodgeball meets archery) all sorts of yoga classes and even sumo-wrestling.
Sessions last for around one hour and are hosted by trained, friendly and passionate leaders and volunteers from the local area. The group-based activities are designed to appeal to everyone regardless of ability or experience so everyone can go at their own pace.
Activities run daily across more than 14 parks and green spaces across Newham- including Plashet Park, Plaistow Park, Stratford Park, Docklands Equestrian Centre and Central Park.
