Westfield Stratford City Indoor Park
If you’ve tried to arrange a UK based family day out this summer holiday, I’m sure the weather has conspired against you at least once!
This summer, Westfield Stratford City is celebrating the great British institution that is the park but are ensuring our pursuits aren’t hampered by rainy weather by bringing the outdoors, indoors.
If you didn’t manage to make it to the Westfield London Summer Park (it ran between 29th July and 14th August) you can still make it over to the Summer Park at the Stratford venue.
Westfield Stratford City has been transformed into a park, a beautiful space for friends and families to meet up. Thankfully it isn’t solely fun and games for the little ones; there’s also a bar, music and summer treats for parents/older kids to get involved with.
The Summer Park at Westfield Stratford City gives you all the joys of a London park – real trees, park gazebos, a pool for zorbing and a programme of kids activities – without the need to bring an umbrella or worry about your picnic transforming into a mud bath!
The Summer Park is open at Westfield Stratford City from 22nd August until 4th September (Weekdays and Saturdays: 12-8pm – Sundays: 12-6pm) which is perfect timing as most kids don’t seem to go back to school until the second week of September and if you’re anything like me, you’re running out of things to do to keep them entertained!
I’ll be at the Westfield Stratford City Summer Park on Sunday August 28 from around lunchtime so if you so if you see us, please come up and say hi! You can also follow our antics on Instagram and Twitter as we’ll be posting throughout the day.
See you there!
