As a new mum, it can be hard to find the time or inclination to exercise.
First, you will probably need childcare – or will need to find a gym with a crèche - and second, you will probably feel guilty for leaving your little one whilst you exercise. #MumGuilt
What if I told you that there might be a class or gym that would welcome your little one too? A class where you could see your little bundle of joy and stop if he or she needed you? Sounds too good to be true? It isn’t!

Xtend Barre, Marylebone High Street
This gentle post-natal class encourages new mums to wear their baby in a sling or carrier, so you can enjoy working out together.
From peek-a-boo press-ups to ballet bouncing, the 55-minute class consists of gentle exercises based around dance, ballet and Pilates.
Bumps & Burpees, Lomax Gym, Chelsea
Bumps & Burpees is a dedicated pre-and post-natal space housed within the Lomax gym in Chelsea. Run by ex-gymnast, Charlie Launder, the gym has lift access, making it accessible for prams, and babies are more than welcome to come along to all sessions.
Babies can either sleep whilst Mummy works out or join in the fun in a bouncer or carrier and cheer mum on from the sidelines.
