IKEA LAGOM Pop Up at Westfield Stratford City
Move over Hygge, it’s all about LAGOM.
IKEA will be launching a Live LAGOM event in Westfield Stratford City from the 21st February 2017.
For the uninitiated, ‘LAGOM’ comes from the Swedish phrase “LAGOM är bäst” meaning ‘the right amount is best’, a trend IKEA is championing as it tries to help us live more sustainably.
The IKEA Live LAGOM Event will be open from 21st – 26th February with food sampling, free workshops (we're particularly interested in one called 'curry in a hurry') and tips and tricks on how to live the LAGOM lifestyle.
The purpose of LAGOM isn’t to deny yourself what you love, it’s more about not taking more from the planet than you truly need. The event will teach you how to have a beautiful, comfortable home without sacrificing our environment.
IKEA Live LAGOM will be hosted in the IKEA Stratford Order and Collection Point with LAGOM food sampling in the pop-up food bistro opposite. Workshops are free and can be booked online here.
Bring your purse; IKEA will also be selling solutions to help support your newfound LAGOM skills. You can pick up food storage, water bottles and waste management products. If you head over to Westfield Stratford City on Tuesday and Wednesday, you’ll be able to meet with participants from the IKEA Live LAGOM initiative and find out more about their experiences living in a LAGOM lifestyle.
IKEA Live LAGOM will be held at Westfield Stratford City, The St, London E20 1EJ from Tuesday 21st – Sunday 26th February. The nearest accessible tube and bus station is Stratford, with direct links on the Central, Jubilee, Overground and National Rail services.
