School holidays inevitably means lots of eating out.

Even if you’re trying to 'eat clean', the London is still your friend with a plethora of child-friendly takeaway options that won’t blow your healthy lifestyle or your wallet.

Here are some of our faves:

More food on the go than somewhere to sit down for a meal – although the flagship Tottenham Street branch does have ample seating – the food is freshly made that morning with plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and those with allergies.

Sauces are on the side to keep the fat/calories down.

Marks + Spencer Food To Go

You can be as healthy or as unhealthy as you like in good old M&S – our favourite is the Nutty Superfood Salad.

Sandwiches, soups or sushi, they have all the bases covered and the prices aren’t terrible.

If you eat gluten or dairy free, this is the place to visit. Quite possibly our favourite restaurant.

The healthiest fast food joint in town, the kids are eating healthily without realising. Eat in and takeaway available. We’ve also got a few of their cookbooks to make their food at home.

Where’s your favourite place to get kid-friendly food on the go?
